This is a part-time course for beginners, allowing you to start to communicate in the foreign language. 

This level is elementary, allowing you to extend your range of basic skills. You have already studied the language for approximately one year, or 40–60 hours.

You should have a good basic knowledge of the language and its grammar, and have already studied the language for approximately two years or 180 hours.

You should have a good basic knowledge of the language and its grammar, and have already studied the language for approximately two years or 120 hours.

You have a solid intermediate knowledge of the language and its grammar, and can communicate confidently and fluently in most everyday situations. You have already studied the language for three years or 240 hours.
