Detailed Description
This trip is available to MA students on the following programmes: Global Development, International Relations and Democratic Politics, International Relations and Security, International Relations, and Diplomacy and Global Politics.
Students will travel by Eurostar from London to Brussels the morning of Wednesday 7 May 2025 and undertake a packed three-day itinerary organised by the Irish College in Leuven, a residential educational institution where the students will stay for two nights. Over the course of the trip, students will undertake institutional visits to key organisations in Brussels (European Parliament, European Commission, European External Action Agency, NATO, etc.) and hear presentations from professionals working in the institutions and NGOs they interact with. Students also have an opportunity to explore the cultural offerings of both Brussels and Leuven, the latter a beautiful medieval university town not far from the city.
